Helsingarurumon

Helsingarurumon!
Another design in the Garurumon family by me. My other design, "Finalgarurumon" is more of a 'god' level digivolution, whereas this one is simply envisioned as an alternate mega to Metalgarurumon.

This time around I thought about how best to naturally continue the line post-Weregarurumon, now digivolving from a 'werewolf' type design into the very thing that can hunt werewolves ergo a 'monster hunter' character like Van Helsing. I've always found the slapped on cyber-wolf Metalgarurumon at the end of the evolutionary line a little random, don't get me wrong he's cool as hell, I just feel that conceptually the design kind of came out of nowehere. I find the theme of imposter in wolf's clothing -> actual wolf -> werewolf -> lupine monster hunter far more logical and I am surprised digimon didn't really try do anything like this to begin with. Plus, I'm fairly certain if you ran a poll about Metalgarurumon going quadrapedal after it's ultimate form, you would get a fair portion of people that would express their dissapointment; I'm not one of those people by the way, but that's a discussion for another time.

As for how I've done with this design, to be perfectly honest I'm a little dissapointed with the final result, but I'm posting it now because I would like to move on to other things. I think the silhouette could be a little more stylish and unique and there's something about the details of this design which could use a little bit more of the classic digimon "grunge"/"edginess". I also really just fumbled out the background with little care - I despise backgrounds! What do you guys think? What's your opinion on Weregarurumon to Metalgarurumon?
